In this recording Ram Karan Sharma chants the complete Sanskrit text of the Śrī Ucchiṣṭagaṇanāthasya Aṣṭottaraśatanāmāvalī (The One Hundred and Eight Names of Śrī Ucchiṣṭagaṇanātha) as it appears in pp. 321-322 of “Gaṇeśa: The Enchanter of the Three Worlds” by Paul Martin-Dubost, Project for Indian Cultural Studies, Publication VI, Mumbai, 1997. [View at Amazon.com]. Martin-Dubost gives no details about this litany except for an attribution to Yati Śrī Rāmānandendra Sarasvatī Swāmigal (Śāntāśrama of Tañjāvur, 1959). It is not stated if the work was composed by Rāmānandendra Sarasvatī Swāmigal or only edited by him. Ucchiṣṭa Gaṇapati is a specific form of Gaṇeśa.
Dr. Sharma’s chanting was recorded on 10 July 2007 in San Francisco.
